We Are A Youth Club
The club emerged from the frequent association of the founder of the Club with young people and the desire to empower young people from the rural communities. The idea to serve her community through youth empowerment and engagement was birthed since she gained the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship under CAMFED in 2014 and went for the scholars’ leadership and enrichment camp 2014 and met other young great minds who inspired her with their exceptional experience in education and social live. After she completed SHS, she had the opportunity to serve as a learner guide in Lassie Tuolu SHS. Engaging with the students made her realized a capability of changing mindsets and empowering others who are less confident to be more confident. She moved on to facilitate at scholars’ camp 2017 and 2018, she drives inspirations from her daily activities with youth and envisioned the impact she could make bringing young people together for a common purpose.
